CHS Pics | ‘Rogue’ farmers market brings a batch of winter veggies to Capitol Hill

(Images: Alex Garland for CHS)

CHS stopped by the Broadway sidewalk in front of Seattle Central Community College on Sunday to reap what had been sown.

The Capitol Hill-based farmers behind Local Roots and friends held a “rogue” — guerilla, not gorilla, CHS photo person! — market on Broadway Sunday and drew a healthy little crowd. If you missed it, there could be more through the coming weeks as we wait for the April re-start of the “official” farmers market.

You can check in with Local Roots on Facebook to find out about the next market. By the way, any other Capitol Hill farmers planning a market can also let us know and we’ll be there to photograph you!
