The flames were first reported just before 1 AM as calls came in that the fire also involved nearby vehicles. Only one vehicle appeared to be seriously damaged.
A fire marshal was not dispatched to the scene to investigate indicating a likely mechanical cause and not a suspicious fire. We’ll follow up when we get the official cause from SFD.

Yeah, that was right outside our apartment. I was trying to find my camera or phone so I could record it but was too dopey from being jolted out of bed by the commotion.
