Man arrested after wreaking havoc at Capitol Hill apartment construction site

A man was arrested early New Year’s morning after damaging vehicles at the construction site of the Cameo Apartments project at 15th and Pine. The report on the incident from SPD is below. The long-delayed 6-story apartment project was recently purchased by Bellevue’s Continental Properties with construction starting last month in what has long been an empty parking lot.

Burglary, Malicious Mischief arrest

On January 1st at approximately 5:00 a.m. officers responded to a report of a man climbing over the fence to a construction site at the southwest corner 15th Avenue and East Pine Street.  The suspect was reported to be smashing windows and/or other pieces of construction equipment at the site.

Responding officers located the suspect inside the fenced property and arrested him.  Further investigation indicated that the suspect had smashed the glass and possibly damaged other areas of at least two large excavation vehicles being used at the site.  Estimated damage was in excess of $1,000.00.

The 23-year-old male suspect was booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary and Investigation of Malicious Mischief.

OK, so now you are condoning criminal activity….further evidence that your “movement” is in decline.

“You loose”….really? This project will go on to completion and “occupation” by law-abiding citizens (aka tenants). Sorry, but you loose.

I’ll go out on a limb and say that 1-percenters with their tons of $$ won’t be cramming themselves into little apartments like this. So all this whack-job has done is made the 99-percenters who will occupy one of these apartments pay more. Which leaves them less money after they pay their rent for anything else.

You’ll be the “loose” one– all your life, till you learn some simple math.
