Caffe Vita roof fire quickly extinguished

A fire that started in a rooftop furnace above the Caffe Vita roasting bean room was quickly dealt with Monday afternoon.

That’s the bean room. I think the roasting takes place in the vita building proper, which is 1005 e. Pike. This building (Mario’s, ChaCha) is leased from an Ethiopian named Solomon.
