The Security Guard stationed there, ALSO has a key to the building as well. To the reporter- why do you call it the “PUMP” house? Is that what SPU call’s it??
Firefighter at scene called it the pumphouse — educate me.
We’ll follow up with SFD and SPU on this, too.
It houses a pump, to pump water into the reservoir. The water doesn’t come from Seattle, they pump it from the Cascades then from the bottom of the hill to the top.
