Join us Wednesday night for a CHS gathering of friends and neighbors to help welcome Tommy Gun to the Hill. We’re gathering at the 1703 E. Olive Way CHS advertiser from 5-7p to meet some interesting people, shoot the breeze, talk about Capitol Hill and the news site and execute various other shenanigans. Here’s a little more about the new neighborhood watering hole. If you’re never been part of a CHS happy hour, they’re only really weird for the first minute or two as you let the first drink settle in. After that, they’re just weird. You’ll love it.

4th Annual Capitol Hill Garage Sale Day is June 11, 2011
It’s time to clean your closet, gather your treasures and sign up at capitolhillgaragesale.com for this year’s community garage sale day. Consider getting together with neighbors or building-mates for a sale in your part of the ‘hood, hold your own or join us at the community space in its new home this year at the future FedRep park space ($20 registration goes to support the park’s development!). Sign-up for garage sale day is 100% free. You can take care of sign-up or registration here. We’ll have a poster to share soon for your own printing needs but feel free to start spreading the word on your own for the Saturday, June 11th 10a-3p Hill-wide sales.
No vendors at the community lot please but local merchants, your sidewalk sales are 100% welcome so add your name to the roster, too.
