B-BAM! leaving Pike/Pine, Emerson Salon expanding

The idea of B-BAM! existing anywhere but on Capitol Hill is pretty strange — owner Leslie Lippi has been in business on the Hill since 1990 when she got her start with a cart in Broadway Market. But the t-shirt and ‘branded merch’ provider has been on the hunt for new space to house its growing online business and this week made it official — B-BAM! is leaving E. Pike for ‘offices on the water.’

B-BAM has been a long-time advertiser on CHS and the move, it turns out, involves another of our long-time supporters. We’ve been told that Emerson Salon has arranged to take over the B-BAM space and will be expanding its services after an overhaul of the space.

We’re hoping to talk with Lippi about the move and will have more details from Emerson as they put plans together for the newly expanded space.
