Pike/Pine fashion kids say happy Earth Day

Trash bag electric yellow was fashionable this morning as Gary Manuel Aveda Institute students and staff took to the sidewalks of Pike/Pine for a neighborhood clean-up to celebrate Earth Day. About 20 students participated and reported the following observations from the field:

• People should stop smoking
• People should stop throwing cigarette butts on sidewalk
• The area in front of Oddfellows was cleaner than the area in front of the Comet
• Somebody found a muffler
