Vino Verite, a new wine store just off Broadway at 208 Boylston Avenue East, opens today and will host a wine tasting between 5 and 8 pm tonight. Haj and Dave invite you to drop by for a taste. They say they will start off with the bubbly stuff and then move onto reds and whites.
Some really nice chaps run this place. I stayed for over an hour. Late in the evening, someone opened a 1974 bottle of California Cabernet Savingnon. That was a real treat.
