Others agree — this Heart Shoes art project making its way around the Hill is a little spooky. Now it has creeped into the CHS flickr pool. The “Elphaba Lives” tag — I think — is probably unrelated. But maybe these shoes are new style ruby slippers.

Elphaba is the birth name of who later became known as “the wicked witch of the west? Explained in the book “wicked”. And in the follow up “son of a witch” there is a cultish following that longed for the days of the witch, and graffiti such as this begins to appear al around the Emerald City. Great Books!
