No . I think it was called something like the Happy Hedon ? It was next to The Stumbling Monk and Half Price Books.

I have no clue what happened to it, but I was asked the same question two nights ago.

I only went there once. It was a fascinating place, but a little too odd for me. I had some kind of lotus root on a skewer, and a salad from another planet. They were really nice, but they also seemed kinda doomed.
They had some kind of family emergency thing. byBreanne2 months ago (0 votes) (report abuse) (reply)
Or so the note that was up for several weeks said. Then some of the furniture inside disappeared, and an eviction notice appeared on their door.

The windows are now covered in plywood, and there was noise about a new location of El Chupacabra opening there, but it seems the owners are fighting and stalling the project. There hasn't been any work in there for several weeks now.

I was wondering what was up with The Chupa (they had a liquor license app) and after a while, someone came along and filled up the drama-bucket.

It was the Healthy Hedon (is hedon even the right word? wouldn't it be hedonist?). It was a cool little place with good food and a nice staff, but way too pricy in my opinion. I wish the restaurant owners well though, it really was a cute place.
