We recently reported on neighborhood restaurateur Eric Bahn’s arrest for allegedly assaulting a former employee. The incident took place on the sidewalk in front of Bahn’s Monsoon on 19th Ave just before the upscale restaurant was opening for dinner a few weeks back.
The guys from the Central District News have started swinging by the East Precinct on a weekly basis to check out police reports from the area. They sent over this report from Bahn’s arrest which provides some colorful background on the incident. We’ll feature reports of interest from time to time — our own little version of The Smoking Gun, I guess.
The report says that the C/V was walking by around 4:35, but the officer was dispatched at 4:27. Psychic dispatchers?
