When does Broadway light rail construction begin?

Lots of talk about the coming changes for Broadway during construction of the Capitol Hill Station and the University Link part of the light rail project. Not always a lot of clear details available.

So, when will the digging actually start? I've heard December. The site says 'late 2008.'

Very definitive when the digging ends, however. Get ready for a long haul. Project is scheduled for completion in 2016. Mark you calendars.
